Getting To See Us

Our patients are referred to us from general practitioners or polyclinics.

Patients can also refer themselves but a referral letter ensures that you see the right specialist for your problem. This way, you can also be assured that your dental needs are correctly sited at the appropriate level of care.

Referring Yourself to NDC

If you would like to see us, but do not have a referral letter, you can call for an appointment. Our call centre will try to match you to the service you require. To help us, you can give us any of this:

  • your dental complaint
  • service you require
  • name of doctor you would like to see
  • specialty department

If you are unsure of these information, we will site your first visit with a dentist at the General Dentistry Department, who will screen you.

Patients who refer themselves are registered as 'Private' paying status, as are patients who are referred from private general practitioners.

The Community Health Assist Scheme (CHAS) started by the Ministry of Health helps needy Singaporeans receive subsidized care at general practice dental clinics near their homes.
