The RRU and Library was set up in 1999 to promote, facilitate and coordinate research activities at the National Dental Centre. The RRU aims to be a one-stop information helpdesk for all in-house research related matters and advises researchers on policies and guidelines for conducting research in the centre.

 

It maintains a research register for all NDC affiliated research projects. It is staffed by a 3- member research secretariat which supports the NDC Research Committee and Institutional Review Board (IRB). The unit also plays an important role in research training and education by organizing regular research related continuing education programmes for NDC staff.
