Endodontic Unit

Endodontic treatment conserves teeth that will otherwise have to be extracted. It is concerned with the etiology, diagnosis, prevention and treatment of diseases and injuries to the pulp and associated peri-radicular conditions.


Scope of practice:

• Endodontic treatment using microscopy
• Management of pulpal and periapical diseases
  • Non-vital pulp therapy / conventional root canal treatment
  • Vital pulp therapy
  • Surgical endodontic treatment
• Management of endodontic complications and mishap
• Management of trauma to the tooth
• Non-vital bleaching
• Restoration of endodontically treated teeth
