The National Dental Centre was incorporated under the Companies Act on 8 August 1995. It commenced operations on 1 March 1997. On 31 March 2000, NDC came under the management of Singapore Health Services or SingHealth. The SingHealth Group is positioned to serve the eastern sector of Singapore through a cluster network of 4 hospitals, 5 specialist centres and 7 polyclinics.
The National Dental Centre offers a unique environment for dental professionals. It is an institution with a full-service specialist dental centre. It has an active teaching programme designed to provide all members of the oral healthcare team with continuing professional education. It is engaged in clinical research.
The Centre will set the standard for the practice of dentistry in Singapore.
